Himould® Mushroom Head Bolts: Metric

Himould® insulation bolts, nuts and washers are manufactured from a tough and durable nylon- 6 compound, which is stress-relieved after moulding.This  ydroscopic plastic material, which absorbs moisture, provides excellent thermal insulation when used to secure polystyrene panel systems in the coolstore  industry. Bolts are available in a range of lengths and head types (dome, hex and square head). They are normally supplied with 50mm plain shank under the head. Nut designs range from threaded dome nuts through to caps which push-fit over M16 steel nuts. All bolts are tested for shear values, but should not be used in tension applications, such as suspended ceilings. The standard colour is titanium, but insulation nuts, bolts and washers can be custom-coloured to suit individual specifications.
