Nylatron® MC901 is an impact-modified cast nylon 6 grade which exhibits stiffer, harder and dimensionally more stable properties than unmodified nylons. It offers higher toughness, flexibility, fatigue resistance, mechanical strength and damping properties, without impairing the inherent properties of standard cast nylons.
Nylatron® MC901 has good electrical properties, loadbearing capability and chemical resistance, and is quiet in operation. Its superior machining qualities make it ideal for automatic lathes. Because of the low co-efficient of friction, it has proven to be an ideal material for applications using gear wheels, or racks and pinions.
Nylatron® MC901 has a distinctive blue colour and is available in a good standard range of rod, sheet and tube.
